Yogo Organizer privacy policy

Every claim here was checked against the code rather than written from intent.

What Yogo Organizer is

Yogo Organizer is a Chrome extension that gathers your own YouTube playlists, Liked videos, Watch later and watch history into one library in your browser, so you can search them, tag them with Super Tags, and then copy, move or remove videos between your playlists. Nothing changes on YouTube until you review the list of changes and press Apply. It has no account and no sign-in of its own, and no server that holds your library. It does send some things over the network: thumbnails, previews, and the optional AI suggestions that credits pay for. "Where it goes" lists each one.

What Yogo Organizer reads

Your playlists and their videos, on youtube.com/playlist and youtube.com/feed/playlists (including Liked videos and Watch later): playlist names, and each video's title, channel name, length, view count, thumbnail address and position in the list.
Your YouTube watch history, on youtube.com/feed/history, when you choose to load it: the same details for each video in it.
Which account a page belongs to, as an opaque account number from the page's own settings, so Yogo Organizer can stop if you switch YouTube accounts halfway through loading or applying. It is only compared, never shown, and never leaves your device.

Yogo Organizer reads these by working in a YouTube tab you are signed into, scrolling the page and reading what it shows, which is the same information you see on screen. It does not read any other site, and it does not read your name, your e-mail address, your comments, your subscriptions or your searches.

Why

Only to build your library and apply the changes you choose. Yogo Organizer does not analyse, profile or score you, and it does not change anything on YouTube until you press Apply on a list of changes you have reviewed.

Where it goes

Your library stays on your device. Everything Yogo Organizer reads is written to chrome.storage.local on your own device. There is no Yogo Organizer server that holds your library. The developer cannot see it. It is never sold or shared. The only things that leave your device are the requests listed below.

Thumbnails. Your library shows each video's thumbnail, which your browser loads from YouTube's image server (i.ytimg.com). These are the same images YouTube shows you, and the requests carry the video's ID, as they do on youtube.com.

Applying changes. When you press Apply, Yogo Organizer clicks the same YouTube buttons you would ("Save to playlist", "Remove from playlist", "Remove from Liked videos", "Remove from watch history") in a YouTube tab. YouTube receives those actions from your browser exactly as if you had clicked them.

Video previews. While video previews are on (Settings → Video previews), a preview starts when you rest the pointer on a thumbnail, or when you press its play button if you chose "When I click". It loads https://yogo-organizer.com/player/ and, inside it, YouTube's standard embedded player for that one video ID. The player page is static, has no analytics, and runs no script of Yogo's beyond starting the player. Like any website, its host (Cloudflare) keeps ordinary request logs. YouTube handles the embed like any video embedded on a website. Nothing else about you or your library is sent. Turn previews off and no preview request is ever made.

Yogo AI suggestions. If you have credits and choose Yogo AI in "Suggest Super Tags", Yogo Organizer sends the entry ID, title and channel name of the videos you chose (and the optional note you typed about how to group them, or, when you typed none, the names of your Super Tags so the suggestions can reuse them) to Yogo's AI service at https://api.yogo-organizer.com, together with your key, which identifies your credits. That service forwards them to Google's Gemini API to produce suggested Super Tags and returns the result. Nothing else about the videos (duration, views, playlists, history) and nothing about you is sent. The first time, Yogo Organizer shows a notice saying exactly this and asks you to accept it. Chrome also asks for permission to reach that address, and only then. Nothing is sent unless you continue.

Yogo's service does not store your titles, channels, note or Super Tag names. For each request it keeps a log line with the status, entry count, token totals, timing, and a shortened hash of your key's wallet id. The log line never holds your key itself, your titles, your channels or your email.

Your wallet, identified by that wallet id, separately keeps:

your credit balance
which Stripe payments have already been credited to it, and for how much, so none is ever credited twice
credits held for a suggestion in progress, released back after 10 minutes if it never completes
the times of your last hour's requests, to enforce the limit of 20 an hour
whether your key email has already been sent
if support ever adjusts your balance by hand, for a refund or to move credits to a replacement key, the amount and the reason

None of this is linked to your email address. Stripe holds that, and Yogo's service reads it only once, to send the key email. Google processes the request under the terms of the paid Gemini API, under which Google does not use prompts to improve its products.

Your own assistant. "Suggest Super Tags" can instead give you a file of the videos you chose and a prompt to copy, for an AI assistant of your own choosing (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or another). Downloading and copying send nothing. Uploading the file and pasting the prompt are your own actions, and whatever you upload falls under that assistant's own privacy policy. This path never involves Yogo's service and needs no credits.

Checking your balance. Pressing "Refresh" next to your credits, or finishing a purchase, sends a plain GET request to https://api.yogo-organizer.com/ai/balance carrying only your key, and gets back how many credits are left. It happens only on that action, never on a timer and never at startup.

Paying for credits, and tipping, happen outside the extension. Credit packs are bought on a Stripe checkout page that opens in an ordinary browser tab, and the page you land on after paying is pay.yogo-organizer.com. The tip links open Ko-fi or PayPal the same way. Yogo Organizer never sees your payment details and contains no payment code. After paying, a key is emailed to the address you gave Stripe. Resend, a third-party mailer, sends that email, and Yogo does not keep the address itself. The pay.yogo-organizer.com page can also hand the key straight to the extension on that same tab, so you often don't have to copy it. Whether you paste the key or it arrives that way, the extension checks it on your own device against a public key built into the extension, so activating it makes no network request. The key is transmitted only in the Yogo AI suggestions request and the balance check described above.

What Yogo Organizer stores, and for how long

Yogo Organizer keeps these in chrome.storage.local on your device:

your library (the videos it read and where each one is)
your Super Tags and their tag rules
local collections
the changes waiting for Review
the AI-file mappings described below
your settings
your key, if you activated one, and your last known credit balance
the Activity log, a record of recent applied changes with titles, channels and dates

They persist until you remove them, press "Delete all data" in Settings, or uninstall the extension. Uninstalling removes all of it.

The AI file and Yogo AI suggestions build a list of the videos you choose and store its entry mapping locally, so a reply can be checked against the same list. Whether you have accepted the Yogo AI notice is kept locally too.

Yogo Organizer also keeps a small local diagnostic log of the steps in an Apply, including the titles and video IDs it acted on, so that a crash midway leaves something to look at afterwards. It is capped, never leaves your device, and is removed when you uninstall.

Changes on YouTube are real

Apply changes your actual YouTube account. Yogo Organizer cannot undo removing a video from your watch history or taking a video out of Liked videos (an un-like). That is why every change waits in Review first, names where each video leaves and where it goes, and runs only when you press Apply.

No tracking

Yogo Organizer contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs of any kind. Its network activity is exactly what is described above:

the YouTube pages it works in, and the buttons it presses there on your command
thumbnails from YouTube's image server
while previews are on, the preview page on yogo-organizer.com and YouTube's embedded player inside it
the requests to Yogo's AI service described above, made only when you choose Yogo AI, press "Refresh" with a key active, or when the purchase page hands off a finished purchase to the tab it opened

Permissions

storage keeps your library, Super Tags, collections, settings and records on your device.
unlimitedStorage stops Chrome's default storage quota from cutting off a large library (thousands of videos). It raises the ceiling for the same on-device data, and nothing else is stored.
power keeps your screen from sleeping while your reviewed changes are applied, and only then, because YouTube cannot be driven while the display is asleep.
youtube.com/playlist, youtube.com/feed/playlists and youtube.com/feed/history let Yogo Organizer read your playlists, Liked videos, Watch later and watch history, and apply the changes you review there, on your command. No other YouTube page and no other site.
api.yogo-organizer.com (optional) is not granted at install. Chrome asks for it the first time you choose Yogo AI or press "Refresh", and you can revoke it in the extension's details at any time. It is used only for the suggestion and balance-check requests described under "Where it goes".
